First day of cultural visits. After a full English breakfast prepared by the cook international Réjean Painchaud, we visited the medieval town of Ludlow. In this city, there is a castle dating from the eleventh century. Particularly in ruins, but was still able to imagine the structure of the time. The ruins remained the chapel, the keep, the exterior and interior walls and various small rooms, as the stable or very narrow stairs that give you dizzy because they were built in a spiral. After that, we headed towards Clun to see the ruins of another castle, meanwhile, was hardly anything. This castle was built atop a very steep hill, all in the middle of a valley. The surrounding landscape adding a touch of beauty to this postcard view.
To end the day we went to visit Bishop's Castle. Unfortunately, we did not find what we wanted.
