After cleaning the house, we headed to the wonderful city Roman Bath. Due to heavy traffic, we have 4 hours instead of 1:45 to get there, all the rain. Once there, we ate in a park and then went to visit the famous Roman baths.
These baths were built on a natural source of hot water by the Romans around the 1st century, so that these baths were already known to local tribes. They consisted of an initial pool located directly above the source and redistribute the water to a bigger pool and other related basins. Over time, these basins have been forgotten and rediscovered centuries later. These baths were used for treatment of chronic diseases and was a Shrine dedicated to the goddess Minerva.
After this visit, we left for the direction of London, where we found our new apartment until Wednesday.
