10 Mm Phophate Buffer
After an early wake up, we were in the car at 4:30 to take the tunnel of the round early. Half an hour later, arrived in France, we headed to Paris. After arrival at the hotel, our first destination was of course the Eiffel Tower. Then we saw the Arc de Triomphe, we strolled along the Champs Elysees and the Seine. We walked a lot and discovered one of the upscale suburbs of Paris. It was a beautiful sunny day where we learned many historical facts.
For example, we did not know that the Arc de Triomphe was built by Napoleon as a reward for his men. He was then made of wood, for lack of money and was subsequently rebuilt by another king. We also saw the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, with its flame unquenchable ever. This tomb was built in memory of all soldiers whose names are unknown and who died for France.
To end the evening, we parted our separate ways. Some have gone to see the Eiffel Tower at night, which is very impressive, and celebrated the anniversary of Amelia.
