Long before the Solaris with Clooney and his equally remarkable soundtrack also Cliff Martinez, there was the film of Andrei Tarkovsky in 1972, the very special atmosphere, where time seemed to freeze. you will have guessed that there is no grooves here, not a hint of pop or rhythms. Artemiev is all atmosphere and plays with atmospheres using old analog synths.
