This is a CD that I have for 8 years now, that I love, and I never get tired ... I First discovered Grantby (aka Dan Grigson) with a fine product as "Timber" subtle blend of hip-hop and "spy" music, which collide samples of John Barry (007 & counting / Diamonds Are Forever) and moods "to Morricone, all DJ Groove sauce ... Released in 1995 on the Maxi" Timebooth ep "(Cup Of Tea) now very rare, it has been included on numerous compilations called" trip-hop but also and especially on the CD / Double LP "Cup Of Tea Records - A Compilation." But the point of "Timber" here, I'll let you look this way ... You also acknowledge here the different songs from the film world, myself and over time, I found good numbers ... Car this is a "trip train", an array of atmospheres, where under the different aliases of Grantby, one easily recognizes the creators of the best soundtracks of an era indeed passed. You also will recognize the credits of a show now ... Anyway, lots of titles used for the illustration of documentaries and other music in the world of TV today.
